Seven Terraces Hotel & Kebaya Dining Room

Built in the late 19th century, Seven Terraces was a contiguous row of Anglo-Chinese terrace houses located just behind the Goddess of Mercy Temple. The row of houses today is a sterling splendid example of an adaptive reuse of heritage buildings that were of low density and low impact.

Kebaya restaurant at Penang’s gorgeous Seven Terraces Hotel offers diners a true taste of Peranakan food without having to go too far out of town, or even break the bank. Located on Stewart Lane under the roof of one of the city’s prettiest Anglo-Chinese boutique hotels, it certainly has a certain historic feel and is popular with tourists who visit for its beautiful photograph-worthy interiors.
